STRATEGIES
Pure Price Action Series –
This is Charlie’s all time favorite set of strategies/setups to watch for. He has spent a lot of time teaching members the basics of price action because of it’s accuracy when traded properly. Using solid risk management, following a trading plan and utilizing the pure price action materials taught will bring your trading to another level. Charlie shares some of the setups that he sees coming up with his Market Commentary posts.
He prefers D1 timeframe with entry based on the H1 or H4 timeframe.
This series can be used on all assets of your choosing as it uses levels from history instead of indicators and setups with a win ratio of 74% or higher.
The Foltron –
The Foltron is a strategy that has turned into so much more for the Slick Trade community. It is not only a great strategy, it has also been turned into an EA (expert advisor), a source of forex signals for members and a reliable auto-trader. The basics of the strategy start with the simply cross of EMAs, but with all of the testing, optimization and demoing over time has turned it into a beast against all of the rest of the strategies.
Charlie prefers to have members find what setup works best for them, however he prefers the EMA cross in conjunction with the Trend Rider, and to use this strategy on the H1 time-frame for entry and D1 time-frame for confirmation.
The Professor –
The Professor is a close runner up to the Foltron strategy. They both heavily rely on the Trend Rider and that is what Charlie likes most about them. Their entry is a bit different and the Professor trades usually last much longer than the Foltron trades.
He bases entry on the H1 time-frame and confirmation based on the D1 time-frame.
NADEX Afternoon Delight –
The Afternoon Delight is a Nadex strategy that has helped many traders increase their ROI. This is a well known, easy to follow strategy that sets up around the same timeframe each day. The Sausage & Sushi is another Nadex strategy that has proven to be extremely solid. AUTOTRADERS
The Foltron –
The Foltron is Charlie’s pride and joy. He has spent more time and money investing in the continued improvement of this setup simply because it works. He prefers to use the new set and forget templates when auto-trading his live account on the following assets – GBPUSD, EURUSD, USDCAD and NZDUSD on the H1 timeframe.
The Sominex –
The Sominex is a creation from John Caretta in the room. It has held it’s solid ROI and gives you the freedom to set and forget about it. The current best settings for this EA are –

SIGNALS
NADEX
Low Risk Spreads –
These signals are generated from the foltron running on the 15 minute timeframe. They utilize the function of the EMA cross and the Trend Rider before sending a signal. They are meant for the daily expiration of the asset and should only be traded up to 2 hours before expiration.
Charlie takes all spread signals he sees as long as they have a minimum of 2 hour expiration left for the daily. If they do not, simply move on to the next trade. If a signal is sent out within the last 2 hours of duration, wait and see if price moves in favor before the next daily contract opens. If price does not move much, then go ahead and grab the spread once the next contracts open up.
Afternoon Delight –
These signals are sent from the Afternoon Delight EA, running on the 15 min timeframe. They hold true to the strategy and make your life easier by not having to be at the computer from 12-7pmEST every day. Charlie takes these signals every day without fail and sets WOs if there is no good price. Many times there are multiple opportunities for setups with the MACD cross.
Sausage & Sushi –
These signals are sent from the Sausage & Sushi EA, running on the 15 min timeframe. They hold true to the strategy and make your life easier by not having to be at the computer from 8-11pmEST every day. Charlie takes these signals every day without fail and sets WOs if there is no good price.
FOREX
Charlie enjoys the short and long term forex signals that are sent from the Foltron and Professor (FSG). Many times he uses these H1 entrys if they coincide with either general price action setups or D1 trend.
